Background

Mr. Leander is a Broadcast Engineer and Consultant with over 25 years of experience in the FCC relations, broadcast engineering and the technical aspects of FCC licensed stations. Mr. Leander’s experience includes FCC frequency coordination studies, radiation studies, logistical and technical aspects of AM, FM, and television broadcaster licensure, transfers and renewals, applications for tower and transmission moves, FM translator applications, STA applications, Licensed-but-Silent applications, and License-to-cover issues as well as in application frequency interference claims. Mr. Leander also supports technical and operational issues for FCC Notices of (Technical) Violations, Broadcaster NALs, and application Comments, Objections and Replies for pending applications.

Mr. Leander is an external consultant with Maldonado Law Group in its Broadcaster Practice and in conjunction with existing FCC Engineers of the clients to pursue and expedite the application process, and, identify technical and logistical options viable under FCC Rules and application windows. Mr. Leander also supports Maldonado Law Group in dealings with FCC Enforcement Bureau Field Office matters.
