In 2004, Attorney Edward A. Maldonado participated in the drafting team for the State of Illinois Phone Card Fraud Act Public Act 93-1002 (815 ILCS 505/2QQ) that became law on July 1, 2005.  The act regulates Prepaid Calling Cards and Calling Card Provider Licensure and Distributors in the State of Illinois.  Mr. Maldonado participated with the legislative drafting team under the offices of Lt. Governor Pat Quinn, who now presides as Governor of the State of Illinois.
