Mr. Maldonado leads the firms practice group focused on  the representation of telecommunications and new technology clients and  Corporate and Commercial Transactions. His prior litigation experience  includes cases and controversies at the state and federal trial level  regarding the breach of carrier contract, carrier billing disputes, patent  infringement, prosecution of trade secret disclosure, prosecution of civil  fraud and theft, defense and prosecution of non-competition/non-disclosure  claims, civil forfeiture and enforcement action defense, breach of contracts  over satellite services, defense of civil RICO, criminal defense and  governmental tort liability. His appellate practice is limited State and  Federal claims regarding administrative appeals, governmental tort liability  and constitutional claims.

Mr. Maldonado’s transactional practice  includes business planning, business negotiations, new technology business  planning, Foreign PTT Negotiations, International representation, corporate  structuring, corporate acquisitions, administrative action defense and  petitions before the federal and state agencies, Stored Value regulatory  compliance and business planning, and Money Service Business planning and  structuring.

In 2004, Mr. Maldonado consulted and participated in the  drafting and passage of the Illinois Phone Card Fraud Act, a law aimed at  curbing consumer fraud by unstable and uncertified providers. Mr. Maldonado  regularly advocates on issues concerning regulatory affairs of common carriers  (TDM and VoIP) before the FCC and State Public Utility Commissions. Mr.  Maldonado currently writes The Prepaid Press' Legal-Line, addressing legal  issues related to the prepaid calling service industry; and is a frequent  contributor to several trade magazines in the Telecommunications industry in  both English and Spanish.

Mr. Kiselius holds a Bachelors Degree in psychology from the  University of South Florida where he was a member of the College of Arts and  Sciences Honor Society and completed post-graduate coursework in English prior  to law school.  Mr. Kiselius holds law degree from the University of  Miami School of Law where he was a contributing writer to Res Ipsa Loquitor  and where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta.  During his law school  career, Mr. Kiselius also served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami  Public Defender’s Office and the Family Law Self-Help Center.  Mr.  Kiselius also possesses a Florida, State Certified Contractor’s license and  was a successful contractor for a decade prior to his law degree.   
 
Mr. Kiselius’s work with the MLG has primarily focused on  legal research and developing federal and state motion practice with MLG  attorneys in the areas of commercial and contract law, technology law and  administrative law.  Mr. Kiselius has organized and drafted numerous  legal arguments that have been instrumental and successful in complex civil  litigation matters, including civil RICO, telecommunications, administrative,  personal injury, contract claims, and constitutional actions in county and  circuit courts, district courts of appeal, and federal district and circuit  courts, the Division of Administrative Hearings and the Florida Supreme Court.    
 
Mr. Kiselius also serves on the MLG administrative  law practice group team, supplying not only legal support but also practical  experience in handling and resolving claims against professional licenses, but  also their defense during administrative investigations and actions.  He  serves as the Group’s Administrative Coordinator for Intake and  Intergovernmental Communications.

Mr. Pineda is  Colombian attorney with extensive experience in administrative law and  international commercial contracts.  Mr. Pineda holds a J.D. (Cum Laude)  from Our Lady of the Rosary College of Law in Bogotá Colombia (1988) and holds  an Economics and Political Science from the University of Paris VIII  (1977-1981).  Mr. Pineda has presented and organized numerous seminars  for businesses in Colombia on Administrative Law and Public Contracts (Bogotá  1985-1996) and has served as Public Contract Drafting and Negotiation Workshop  Coordinator for ESAP in Bogotá, Colombia (1995-1998).



Mr. Pineda has prior teaching experience at the  graduate level in legal coursework as an Associate Professor of Law at Our  Lady of the Rosary College of Law (1989-1993) and as a Professor of  Constitutional Law at Catholic University, Bogotá, Colombia (1992).

Mr.  Estrada holds a Jurist Doctor Degree from the Central American University in  Nicaragua, as well as a Master of Comparative Law as a Fulbright Scholar  through the U.S. Department of State at the University of Mississippi School  of Law, and is a member of the Louisiana, New York, and Nicaragua Bars.   Mr. Estrada served as a Civil Court Judge in Nicaragua before his  admission to practice in the United States, and is currently both an attorney  and Civil Notary in Nicaragua.  Since 1990, Mr. Estrada has specialized  his practice on international claims for the return of property, businesses,  and moneys from governmental re-patriation in Latin America, and U.S.  Immigration and Nationalization Law.  Mr. Estrada has also assisted  numerous companies and businesses in establishing a presence in the Central  and Latin American markets.
